Thanks to everyone who helped out today.
The score box is done, the changing rooms are nearly all done & gutters cleaned out.
It was a good party thanks to the lovely refreshments kindly served by Sue & Mary!
There is still a lot to be done and we need bodies to help out. There will be another work party on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th April starting a 9am. Mainly painting & cleaning.
It will soon be the start of the season….
Don’t forget clocks forward tonight!

Joule’s (as you will probably know) are sponsoring Rock and Bowl again this year and the Brewery and Red Lion are putting on the official warm-up event on Easter Sunday.
Norton-in-Hales Cricket Club members have been asked to bring along family & friends for a fun and entertaining afternoon….
For those who attended the festival last year the band Hipster will no doubt bring back memories – Joule’s have (somehow) managed to secure them to play on the day itself on the 5th April, a useful link to highlight their talents would be www.hipsteronline.co.uk
There is also Green Monkey on special festival offer, so a good opportunity for potential clubhouse customers to get a taste for it whilst enjoying the afternoon as well!
2015 Match Fixtures has now been released – Please see Fixtures page for more details…
Cricket Nets/Practice is now back on at the Grove School, Market Drayton 7-8pm after last weeks break for student exams – See you this week for some batting, bowling & fun followed by a shandy in the Red Lion!

Excellent additions to our club – Please welcome them aboard!
We are delighted to announce that we have a new bar shirt sponsor! LKL Services, based in Wiltshire will be sponsoring our bar shirts for the 2015 season.
LKL Services provide contract herd care to dairy farmers nationally. They handle the whole process from recruiting the person, conducting interviews and agreeing contracts and packages. When on the ground the team of regional managers regularly attend the farm, conducting appraisals and contract reviews.
LKL guarantee a minimum number of days herd care per year, which provides farmers with the piece of mind that should the regular herdsman not be available to work a relief member of staff will cover the role.
LKL provide staff for all levels of positions from assistants, herdsperson, managers and share/profit staff. LKL also own and run Eurokraft, which provides staff from Eastern Europe, mainly Poland. For more details please visit www.lklservices.co.uk
Thanks for the support!
Some National Lottery Lotto Bonus Ball stats for you… (Saturday stats only)

Bonus Ball’s 45 & 37 have both made 31 appearances – They have not yet featured in the Norton-in-Hales Cricket Club Bonus Ball Draw. Will it be Martin or Jim’s turn soon?

Norton-in-Hales Cricket Club are pleased to announce the signing of Paul Gould from Market Drayton. Paul has played in the North Staffs South Cheshire League before with Hanford, but of late has been plying his trade with Market Drayton CC. Paul has been a wicket taker at 2nd XI level wherever he has played and will bring with him a wealth of experience.
We are also pleased to announce the signing of Kassim Abbas from Leycett CC. Kassim has played for Norton-in-Hales CC in the past and saw promotion as his opportunity to return to the club. Born in Bromsgrove, Kas moved to the area to study at Keele University and has remained in the area ever since. Kas is a genuine all rounder being a left hand batsmen and right arm seamer who is looking to nail down a first team place.
We are close to making a couple of notable other signings. Please look out for updates on the website and extend a warm welcome to our new members.
